Faith over Fear…an update from Manda

As so many of you know, one of my closest friends in the world, Manda battled cancer this last year for the third time.
I really can’t even put into words what this year has been like for Manda, her husband Aaron and their two small children.
Manda is my hero in life.
Manda is amazing.
Manda is a miracle.
Today, Manda is sharing her story on Andrea’s blog and I’m asking you to please go read it.  If you need a story about faith over fear…a story about hope even when you really shouldn’t have any…then this is for you.
Manda Maxwell, I love you so much.  It’s been an absolute honor to walk with you through this.  I am forever blessed by your friendship, your love and your faithfulness to the Lord. xoTo support the Maxwell family, we relaunched the Manda Strong t-shirt campaign.  You can see it here.

And to keep up with Manda and how you can pray for her, please “like” her Facebook page here.

A Pizza Pasta Salad for your lunch, side dish or simple supper is here.  Enjoy!

I definitely needed to read this this morning as I am approaching a new and unnerving treatment plan in the next few weeks. This brought tears to my eyes and encouraged my little heart. Thank you so much for sharing with us the update and leading us to where we could read her story. Thank you again!!
    Blessings, Rebecca

I just read her post and I needed that very much. I'm bad about worrying too much, I'm bad about looking and planning too much for the future, and I'm probably not living in the "now" as much as I should. What a wonderful reminder, and what an amazing woman she is! What a blessing it must be to have her in your life!

Shay–Do you know if they are planning on adding youth sizes this go around? I would love to buy a matching shirt for my little girl! 🙂

Your group of friends is amazing, and so is the one girl in the group to whom you've dedicated your blogpost to today! I am so thankful for her that she has beaten it three times, that she has a loving, caring group of friends, that she has a husband who supports and doesn't run from uncertainty and pain, and that she has God to help her and her family through it all!! The best wishes to her and her family for continued health and happiness!! Also, the best wishes for recovery, hope, and love to anyone else going through an illness and pain, whether that be physical or mental anguish: when hope fades and fear sets in, look to God to guide and comfort you!! And know: you are not alone!!
