It’s the first Meal Planning Monday of fall!!!
Okay, I know it’s not technically fall until September 22, but once the calendar flips to September, it’s fall in our hearts over here. 🙂
I hope you all are enjoying a nice Labor Day today. We are doing a few things around here and then later this afternoon, I’ll make school lunches for the week, we’ll have dinner at home and then it’s off to bed for the kids because, you know, #schoollife.
Here are five suppers your family will enjoy this first week of September…plus YOU will love them too because they’re quick to make and easy to clean up.
Happy Labor Day, friends!
My Sausage & Vodka Pasta is probably my family’s favorite pasta recipe. Don’t let the vodka scare you…it just gives the sauce a great depth of flavor, but it’s perfectly family-friendly.
Come September give me all the apple recipes including my Apple Cider Pork Tenderloin. I serve mine over quinoa but you can serve yours over rice, pasta or even turn it into a sandwich.
Maple Crusted Chicken is for dinner tonight. This is a really fun way to make boring old chicken taste extra yummy.
And wrap up your week with my Pizza Lasagna because…Fridays call for fun food and your whole family will love this recipe.
Caramel Apple Pie Bars for your sweet this week.
And for breakfast…
…my Sausage & Cornbread Breakfast Casserole (which would make a yummy dinner too!).
I hope you have a wonderful Labor Day! xo
