Description
A little sweet, a little spicy and a whole lot of easy when you use the airfryer! There are no specific measurements on here because you get to determine the amount of heat you have on each piece.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound of bacon (turkey or pork, we used pork)
- honey to drizzle
- ground cinnamon
- cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Spray the basket of your airfryer lightly with non-stick spray.
- On a plate, take each piece of bacon and lay it out flat. Next, take your honey and squeeze just a bit down over each piece (both front and back). I spread a little bit on and then use a butter knife to smooth it on top.
- After you have added your honey, it’s time to sprinkle on your cinnamon and cayenne pepper down over each piece both front and back (as much or as little as you like). I like mine with a pretty big kick, but for my kids, we used only the tiniest bit.
- Once your bacon is seasoned, add it all to the basket of the airfryer. I don’t mind if my pieces overlap a bit in the airfryer.
- Close the airfryer up, put the temperature at 375 degrees and let it crisp about 12 minutes.
- Remove from airfryer and enjoy!
Notes
If you don’t have an airfryer, you can make this in the oven too! Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. I like to place a cooling rack (the kind you use for cookies) on a baking sheet and then spray it with Pam for my bacon to sit on (instead of sitting right on the baking sheet). Prepare bacon as directed above and then pop in the oven for about 20 minutes (checking periodically). That’s it!
