Description

Our Air Fryer Pancake Donuts are super simple, super versatile and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups All Purpose Pancake Mix (we use Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Pancake Mix)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup veggie oil
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1½ tablespoons cinnamon
  • powdered sugar and milk for a glaze or your favorite store-bought frosting plus fun sprinkles, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine your pancake mix, eggs, veggie oil, sugar and cinnamon with a spoon.  Take this mixture and lightly press it into your donut molds (I use these).
  2. Once your donuts are in the mold, open your air fryer, pop them in and then set the temp to 350 degrees and the timer to 9 minutes.  When the timer goes off, open the drawer and your donuts are done!  If you’re going to glaze or frost them, allow them to completely cool first.
  3. To make a glaze, in a small bowl, add in about 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar with ½ tablespoon of milk.  Whisk together and then pour over your donuts.

Notes

We use a gluten-free pancake mix, so it is a little gritty when we put it in the mold.  Also, this donut batter is thick and not thin.
