Description

If you haven’t made crab cakes at home, they are SO EASY!  It’s basically like making meatballs…you add everything in your bowl, shape them into your desired size and bake (or in this case, air fry).

We love our air fryer for pretty much every single thing, and even if it requires several batches, for us, it’s totally worth it to get that delicious crispiness.  These crab cakes are suuuuuuper simple (only four ingredients!) and easily made gluten-free.  Enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • one pound of lump crab meat
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Italian breadcrumbs (we use g-free)
  • a drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add in your crab, egg and bread crumbs.  Combine until well mixed and then shape into four “cakes”.
  2. Drizzle each crab cake with a little bit of EVOO and pop in the air fryer  for 14 minutes at 390 degrees.
  3. Remove and serve.  We served these with gluten-free pasta tossed in pesto.  Easy as that!
