Hot Honey & Bleu Bacon Burgers

Description

A very flavorful burger that’s super easy to assemble!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds of ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • about 2 tablespoons of your favorite steak seasoning
  • two pieces of crispy bacon per burger (we use turkey bacon)
  • a handful of bleu cheese crumbles per burger
  • a drizzle of spicy hot honey (or regular if your store doesn’t carry it)
  • a handful of torn basil leaves
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat your outdoor grill or indoor grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine your ground beef, Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning together.
  3. Divide this mixture into four sections and make four patties (make sure to press down each patty a little in the center to avoid the “burger bulge” when they grill).
  4. Add your burger patties to the grill and begin grilling (we do about 6 minutes or so each side).
  5. Next, it’s time to assemble! Bun plus your crispy bacon on the bottom, burger patty, bleu cheese, torn basil leaves and a drizzle of your hot honey.

Notes

If your store doesn’t carry a spicy honey, feel free to substitute with a regular one.  We use gluten-free buns to keep this recipe gf friendly.
