Description
I love pimento cheese! And cheeseburgers! So, we made Pimento Cheese Burgers! These are such a simple and delicious way to jazz up your next burger night. Enjoy! xx
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 1 ½ tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 ½ tablespoons onion powder
- salt and pepper
- 1 (4 oz) jar of pimentos, drained
- 2 pounds of ground beef
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- about 2 tablespoons of your favorite steak seasoning
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked to crisp and crumbled, reserve a few to garnish at the end
- 4 burger buns (we used sweet Hawaiian rolls)
Instructions
- First, make your pimento cheese and then keep it in the fridge until you’re ready to eat. This will probably make more than enough, so use it as a dip too!
- In a mixing bowl, beat together with an electric mixer your softened cream cheese along with the mayo, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder and a big pinch of both salt and pepper. Mix until just incorporated. Next, stir in your pimentos. Cover and keep in fridge until your burgers are ready.
- Next, preheat your outdoor grill or indoor grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine your ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, and steak seasoning together. Divide this mixture into four sections and make four patties (make sure to press down each patty a little in the center to avoid the “burger bulge” when they grill).
- Add your burger patties to the grill and begin grilling (we do about 6 minutes or so each side). When your burgers are done, assemble! Bun plus patty plus pimento cheese, chopped crispy bacon and lots of chopped red onion.
Notes
Use gluten-free buns for a g-free burger.
