Intrigued? I was. I found this recipe in one of my Gooseberry Patch Cookbooks. Spinach inside my burger? Eating a burger while eating a veggie at the same time? It sounded too good to be true…and it was. This burger was delish! And if you don’t think you would like it, you’re simply wrong. You’ll love it. We did!!
Shopping List
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 box chopped frozen spinach, thawed and all of the excess water squeezed out
1 package dry onion soup mix
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Burger Buns
In a medium sized bowl, combine ground beef, spinach, soup mix and cheese. Form into 4 burger patties. On the outside grill (or indoor grill pan), cook burgers about 8 minutes per side (depending on how well-down you like them) over medium-high heat. Serve on burger buns.
That’s it! So simple, right? The spinach keeps the burgers really moist and the dry soup mix makes them extra flavorful. It’s going to be a long summer, we need a lot of burger recipes.

These are wonderful!!! Never tasted anything that good! I am thinking of cooking pasta and putting fresh spinach in just as it is done and serve these burgers on top
