Last Christmas, I made a Chocolate Gingerbread Bundt Cake…and it was delicious! But this year, I thought I would make a traditional gingerbread cake…and I wasn’t disappointed. One of my favorite things to do during the Christmas season is decorate a gingerbread house with my kiddos. The smell and flavor of gingerbread is almost magical. This cake is pretty magical too…look below…it is one of my simplest cakes to date. You’ll be singing White Christmas and eating a yummy cake in no time….
Shopping List
1 box of gingerbread cake mix
2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup of veggie oil
1 1/4 cups of water
4 eggs
1 can cream cheese frosting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease (I use Pam) a 10 inch bundt pan
In mixing bowl, combine cake mix, puddings, oil, water and eggs with electric mixer. Pour into prepared bundt pan.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cake rest on counter in pan 10 minutes. Then, invert cake onto serving plate to finish cooling.
Frost cooled cake with your favorite store bought cream cheese frosting.
Is it too early to say Merry Christmas? I don’t think so. Merry Christmas!

i'll definitely be trying this one – gingerbread is one of my favorite flavors! i have a full-blown addiction to the starbucks gingerbread latte… it's a very good thing that it is only a seasonal drink.
thanks for the recipe! xx
