I can’t believe Christmas is almost here! I am so excited and yet kind of sad at the same time. I don’t want it to be over!! I could have Christmas all year long…the music…the twinkle lights…the cards in my mailbox…the food…
…Speaking of food….are you ready? Do you know what you’re making? Whether you’re going to a big sit-down dinner or an appetizer party, the mama has you covered. Here are my tried and true favorite bites for the Christmas season. This is the time to be merry…not the time to be stressing over making party food.
Sarah’s Pinwheels are a huge hit at a party! I love them because they’re simple, can be made in advance and travel easily.
Go ahead and double this recipe. Trust me. They will all be eaten and people will be begging you for more. My Ultimate Sausage Balls will take center stage at any party!
Speaking of being devoured…these Southwestern Egg Rolls will be gone in a flash! They are the perfect party companion.
Ok…what if you’re going potluck? You need a couple of good casserole recipes to take to a party…here are some of my favorites for this time of year…
This Spinach-Artichoke Ravioli is one of my most popular and most requested dishes. It’s easy, it’s meatless, it’s a side dish or a main supper…it’s perfect for potluck.
Another great potluck dish? My Taco Pasta. This casserole is easy, easy but packs a punch with lots of flavor. This is a fun alternative to an Italian pasta casserole.
What if you need to make some Christmas desserts? You know the Mama has you covered in the sweets department…
My Red Velvet Whoopie Pies. They will leave you speechless. Easy, easy and just soooooo good!
Whether you make a big cake or mini ones…the Egg Nog Bundt Cake tastes like Christmas in every bite.
I am obsessed with these cookies. If they’re in my house, I will literally lie in bed at night and think about how I should just get up and eat them all. They are so good. Words that I type really can’t express how much I love them. I love my Peppermint Sugar Cookies.
And the perfect finale to any Christmas dinner…my Candy Cane Bundt Cake. It’s easy, it’s festive, it screams Christmas.
If you need a few more ideas, just click here to see all of my Christmas madness or you could also click here to see what I served on Thanksgiving (because I know a lot of you serve a traditional turkey dinner at Christmas). Remember my tips, relax, listen to festive music, laugh with your family and friends and bake a little merry into everything you make. It’s Christmas!

I totally agree–I could have Christmas all year long, and I'm always sad to see it go! Love all your recipe suggestions! I actually made the pinwheeels just this week for a work party!

I have got to try the ravioli. My hubby loves anything with spinach and artichokes. I also like the egg roll recipe. When I was a child, my mom and godmother made homemade egg rolls. Recently, I have been thinking about making them during the holidays. My kiddos love Mexican so this might be a great one to try.

Shay, I know I have said this before, but you SHOULD have a cookbook (and your own Food Network show!). Seriously, there has to be some Sean-loving publisher/producer out there who wants to make this happen for you. I just needed two dessert recipes for Christmas and yours was the only website I searched, knowing you would have exactly what I needed and it would be one of your tried and true methods. I even delegated choosing the recipe and shopping for the ingredients to my husband – it doesn't get much easier than that! Merry Christmas! XOXO

It's the day before Christmas Eve and I have spent the day making the pinwheels, sausage balls and the southwest egg rolls! I have no one coming to my house for the holidays; as a matter of fact we are going to someone else's house for Christmas Eve but I thought all the recipes looked amazing and it would put me in the holiday spirit. My family has munchies for all day tomorrow as we finish our wrapping and today as we watch the football games.
