We make no bake cookies all the time at our house. My kids love them because it’s instant gratification…no waiting for the cookies to bake in the oven…we make them, we eat them. Typically, we make either Chocolate, Butterscotch or Maple No Bakes but on this day, we made Candy Corn (with white chocolate chips). My kids were in Halloween Heaven!
This is the perfect little Friday afternoon treat for your little goblins :).
This recipe makes about two dozen cookies.
Shopping List
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup candy corn
1 cup white chocolate chips
Wax paper for cooling
In a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, bring sugar, butter and milk to a boil. Boil about a minute, then stir in peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal. Remove from heat and fold in your candy corn and white chocolate chips.
Drop by the tablespoon full on to wax paper to finish cooling (and they’ll harden up). Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
Happy Friday friends!

Hi Shay! Can you still bake these without the peanut butter?

When you say oatmeal, do you mean quick oats or the old fashioned oats? Or, does it matter? Thank you!!

Looks delish…Old fashioned or quick oats?!
Mix and Match Mama says
You can really use either kind of oatmeal. I almost always use Old Fashioned because that's what I have on hand but quick cooking would work too! Enjoy!!

I love love love no bake cookies. But my littlest one has a peanut allergy so I won’t even make them for anyone anymore. Can these be made with nutella? Or something else to give it a similar taste? 🙁
Mix and Match Mama says
Nutella isn’t going to bind like peanut butter will. Can you kiddo have almond butter? Or cashew butter? That will bind better!
