My prayer this morning is that you truly know the reason we celebrate Christmas. A baby was born in a manger, sent to be the savior of this world…the Son of God…the King of Kings.
Santa, reindeer, Frosty, elves, lights, and trees are all silly nonsense…the real reason we celebrate is to not only remember the birth of a baby but the death of that man on the cross that brought about salvation for all. Christ rose again to save us all…it’s a free gift of grace that is available to you and me and everyone else in this world.
On this Christmas Day, if you do not have the peace, hope, joy and love that comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus, I invite you to do that. He’s there. He’s waiting for you. God desires nothing more than for you to know his Son.
From our family to yours, have a very Merry Christmas!

Merry Cristmas… This is your last Christmas as a family of four, which is a good thing. I'm so blessed you do a blog everyday, even one Christmas. I get to see how cute your children are, and I get excited to have my own. Hope you and you family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi Shay, I hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas. I enjoy reading your blog everyday and love your outlook on life. You are so positive and have such a strong faith. I have 3 young daughters (4, 2, and an almost 2 year old). This is very random and I'm not sure how accurate but I read that the new American Girl Doll of the Year is supposed to be a baker from Paris. Again, not sure of the truth, but I immediately thought of you and your daughter! Thanks for sharing your recipes, fashion ideas, and life in general with all your readers! 🙂
