Life lately has been very…icy.
It iced over in our area on Sunday night and we were all stuck at home until Wednesday morning. The fam and I really tried to make the most of this cozy time together…but by Monday night Wednesday, we were all ready to resume normal activity :).
Here’s a look at our life lately…
They always get so excited when Daddy is home at night :).
Fireman Smith
Before the ice came, we enjoyed our nightly walks…we love strolling around the neighborhood after dinner.
Ahhh…to be Smith. He can sleep any time, any where.
Speaking of sleeping…how blessed am I? I love snuggling with this sleeping beauty.
We have totally Americanized Ashby…we took her to the mall, gave her Sonic and a cool pair of sunglasses…and then we sat her next to Nixon :).

…and kisses too.
On a rainy Sunday afternoon, there is no where I would rather be.
My view pretty much all the time…he loves to play by the window when I’m in the kitchen.
I was trying to eat my breakfast (sitting up next to the window) and watch the news on my phone…but this kid had Monster Trucks on his mind and was talking non-stop to me about them :).
A little snow and a layer of ice kept us home on Monday!

And PS: Yesterday, I blogged about how we still don’t have an appointment for Ashby to see the specialist she needs…and then around 4:30 yesterday, they called for an appointment ;). Yay! We have a date scheduled for later in March. We are so excited to finally get this ball rolling. Thank you for your encouragement friends.
For dinner tonight…
…Enchilada Suizas! Sounds fancy but it’s the easiest supper to pull together! Suizas means Swiss…there is Swiss cheese in these enchiladas…be still my heart.

Can you please just make me your new bff?!? Okay, so we've never met or talked…but that's just small details right? You are just awesome! It should be a new mom requirement to read your blog, because girl you are a GREAT little momma!! You really take the time with your babies.
