Another super simple airfryer recipe! My Lime Pepper Chicken only has 5 ingredients (including the chicken!).
This is the epitome of an easy weeknight chicken supper.
Add it to a bed of shredded cabbage (I like to lightly toss mine with Trader Joe’s Feta Salad Dressing) and you’re done!
Enjoy!!

Air Fryer Lime Pepper Chicken
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 22 minutes
- Total Time: 27 minutes
- Yield: 4 1x
Description
An easy airfryer dinner with only five ingredients!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (not frozen)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
- salt and pepper (you’ll use more pepper than salt!)
- the zest and juice of two limes (reserve some zest for garnish)
Instructions
- In a gallon-sized baggie, add in your chicken. Next, drizzle EVOO down over the top (probably about ¼ cup). After that, add in a pinch of your salt and a nice large pinch of pepper followed by the juice and zest of both limes (reserve some zest for garnish).
- Zip up your baggie and shake everything around.
- Next, open up your airfryer (make sure you’ve lightly sprayed it with non-stick spray) and add your chicken breasts inside (discarding the marinade). It’s okay if they overlap a bit.
- Close the airfryer, set the temp to 350 degrees and let it cook 22 minutes.
- Once the timer goes off, open it up, remove, garnish with a bit more lime zest and enoy!
Notes
You can always substitute lemon zest for the lime. You can also add two more chicken breast halves in there to serve more.

Hi! We just presented an air fryer this morning thanks to your great reviews! I have a gluten free cooking question for you. Have you been able to find gluten free egg roll wrappers? or is there something else that’s gluten free I could use in your Southwestern Egg Rolls?
Mix and Match Mama says
That’s a good question! I haven’t even looked for those. I bet Amazon has it though!

Do we not have to flip the chicken over half way? This sounds delicious keep the air fryer magic coming!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
You do not!! I never stop and flip!

So, on the chicken halves…are you cutting a full breast in half? If so, are you cutting it lengthwise to just a smaller width or through the middle to make it thinner? I hope that makes sense. Excited to try this recipe!
Mix and Match Mama says
I am taking half a breast (not the whole breast). Make sense? You know how chicken breasts are two pieces but we typically cut them in half for one portion? That’s what I’m talking about.

Does anyone have experience with the air fryers that are also a toaster oven? I don’t have room for both and am looking at buying a combo one.

I didn’t read all the comments or your review. Did you look at the Ninja Foodi? What is the difference between the Phillips(the one you purchased and the Ninja Foodi? I only need it to serve 4 people–but definetly want to have one that sears. Does the Phillips sears?

I didn’t look at the Food Ninja. I’m intrigued though. What does it do??
