Happy happy Thursday, friends!
You know how much I love me a big open-faced burger. Who needs two buns when you can pile your toppings high and dive in with a fork? From vegetarian to peanut butter, grilled peach, mushroom, wedge, classic, and so many more, I have “burgers” for every occasion.
Today, I’m sharing our new EASY AIR FRYER LOBSTER BURGERS!
We have been playing around with lobster recipes all summer long and honestly, for us, the good old air fryer was the easiest way to make our burger patties. Of course, you can bake yours (we recommend 375 degrees for about 18 minutes) or even use the grill (use a grilling basket so it doesn’t fall through), but if you have an air fryer, pop them in.
If you don’t have easy/affordable access to fresh lobster meat, simply sub with crab!
From our Thursday night to yours, enjoy! xx

Ingredients
- 1 pound (or however much you need) of fresh lobster meat
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup your favorite breadcrumbs (we use g-free)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- a tablespoon or so of snipped chives (plus some to garnish)
- salt and pepper
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
- burger buns (we use g-free)
- your favorite tartar sauce (we like chipotle tartar sauce)
Slaw:
- about 2 cups of shredded slaw mix (store-bought)
- 1 red onion, chopped
- a splash of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
- a big pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, add in your lobster, eggs, bread crumbs, Dijon and snipped chives (reserve some for garnish). Combine until well mixed and then shape into four “burger patties”.
- Drizzle each lobster patty with a little bit of EVOO and pop in the air fryer for 18-20 minutes at 390 degrees (depending on the size of your burgers).
- While your burgers are in the air fryer, make your slaw! Combine your chopped red onion with your slaw mixture. Add in a big pinch of both salt and pepper and a splash of ACV. Toss and taste. You might want to add more vinegar.
- Remove your lobster patties from the air fryer and build your burgers. Bun, slaw, lobster patty, top with tartar sauce and a few chives. Enjoy!
