You guys, it’s t-minus three days until it’s everyone’s Taylor Swift…I mean…Super Bowl watching parties!
I don’t know about you, but WE ARE EXCITED (about the food and commercials) over here! I mean, I’m not exactly invested in the teams playing this year, but I’m highly invested in the food, the commercials and watching my girls count the number of times Taylor is shown in her box.
Today, I’m just reminding you about my #1 favorite party dip should you need a very quick and very easy app for your Super Bowl Sunday. I made this time FOUR TIMES in December alone and every single time, I was asked for the recipe. Easy peasy and oh so delish is…
…this PEPPER JELLY & BACON DIP.
Make it. Make it this weekend and enjoy it too!
I promise, you’ll love it!
PrintPepper Jelly Bacon Dip
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 15 minutes
- Total Time: 20 minutes
Description
This dip will be gone in minutes! It’s the perfect party snack!
Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz) blocks of cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- about 8 buttery crackers, crushed (like Ritz!)
- 8 slices of crispy bacon, chopped up
- 1 (11 oz) jar of pepper jelly
- chips and/or crackers for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat over to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together your cream cheese and shredded Cheddar. Next, stir in your chopped green onions. Spread this mixture across your pie plate.
- After that, top your dip with crushed crackers and the fully cooked chopped bacon. (If you’re making this ahead just stop here until you’re closer to serving.)
- Pop your dip in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
- When you pull your dip out of the oven, spoon your pepper jelly over the top. I like to pop it back in the oven for about 2 minutes after that.
- Serve immediately with chips or crackers.
Notes
This dip is easy to make ahead too! Simply assemble everything but the pepper jelly and then keep it covered in the fridge until you’re ready to bake. Our favorite pepper jelly is Trader Joe’s. You can also use already cooked bacon instead of crisping it up yourself. For an easy gluten-free swap, just change out your crackers to a buttery g-free variety.

I also made this a bunch in December and people LOVED it! My husband doesn’t like cream cheese so it wasn’t up his alley, but everyone else raved. I’m making it for the superbowl. It was delicious with some Fritos!

Tried this for the first time last year and it’s our new favorite party dip!! It always gets rave reviews, and that TJ pepper jelly is perfect for it.

Yay!!! I think the Trader Joe’s Pepper Jelly is the best too. I hate that it’s seasonal now. They should totally make it a year around staple.

My daughter and I have both made this recipe a bunch of times and it is fabulous. Everyone should try it!

Hi! Random Question but what would you make for dinner friday night with a box of Orzo?
Mix and Match Mama says
Do you have any sausage links (like kielbasa)? I feel like slicing it into rounds and browning it in a skillet with an onion and bell pepper would be delish with orzo.
