I took Kensington to a matinee performance of the Rockettes. We had the best time! It was my 3rd time to see their Christmas Spectacular and her first. I just love my mommy and daughter time.
We stopped for lunch on our way.
She’s trying not to smile…but there is a smirk. She’s ornery!
There’s her smile!
She brought Rudolph to watch the show too and I bought her the Rockette doll as a memento (Erika Slaughter, please do not leave a comment about how she has too many of these dolls! I know! It’s out of control over here!)
Group pic!
We had the best time! I hope she always wants to spend time with me.

Okay, I'm jealous. I'm seriously struggling to find Christmas shows for the girls this year. All I can find locally is a panto, which is lame when what you really want are the Rockettes and the Nutcracker!
I miss the USA.

What a fun adventure!! I hope to do something similar with my girls….in a few years. 🙂 BTW can I ask where Rudolph is from?? He's too adorable!!

So sweet & fun!! I love my boys so much but it certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings if God's plans include a daughter for me at some point! 😉

Rudolph is from the Home Depot…random but true :).

I saw that little Rudolph at my Home Depot! He was hanging out right next to the Charlie Brown Christmas tree which made it's way into my basket much to the delight of my grandkids! We watched the video and "decorated" the tree Saturday night. That little blanket that comes with the tree is too cute! Yep, Christmas memories….so worth the effort and the joy they will bring for years! Adorable pics, Shay!

SO fun!!! I have been wanting to take my girls to see The Nutcracker in San Francisco, but and I think I might do it next year…they will be 5 & 6.5
Yay for mommy & daugther time, you guys are so cute!

Aww, my grandma (from NY who just moved to a senior living facility in Flower Mound) just went to see the show, too. It was a little bit of NY in TX for her 🙂 Sweet mommy-daughter time. PS – You look so pretty in your "group photo" with K's doll!

Thank you ladies!

How fun!! Does she try to kick like a Rockette now?! I'm taking my girls to the Nutcracker next week- so excited! We've been going annually, and the mother-daughter outings are so precious!!

I just adore the things you do with your kiddos. Especially, what you do with your daughter. I have 3 kids. 2 girls and a boy. I really adore doing special things with my girls. I hope they stay close to me, when they get older. My mom and I are super close. And it's just a great relationship, that you can't get anywhere else. 🙂
