Over at the Shull house…we like to party! (Not really. We like to eat early, put on our pjs, watch Real Housewives and go to bed at 10:00.)
This New Years Eve was no exception. We ate dinner at 5:30 with two other families (yes…we spent NYE with 8 children) and then we went home to put on our jammies, watch some TV and go to bed. (Hey, it was midnight somewhere in the world!)
Five of the said kids huddled around an i-Pad. We came loaded with things to distract the kiddos and keep them happy and entertained (we were after all, out numbered!).

Then on New Years Day, we went to my parents’ house to celebrate my Grandmother’s birthday (she’s a New Years baby!). The whole family was there all day celebrating but I only managed to take two measly pictures of Smith and Grandmother coloring.
Our two January babies.
I hope you had a wild and crazy New Years like we did ;)!

Yes, in PJs and asleep before most people start their wild night! Sounds like a perfect night to me! 🙂

Ha!! I like your party style!! =) We spent nye with 7 kiddos, had a party at our house and still managed to be on the couch in front of the tv by 11!! (and the only reason we stayed up til midnight is for our older boys ~ they wanted to stay up and we figured if we let them stay up til 11, we might as well go ahead and let them!)

We had a calm night in too, but Nick and I DID manage to stay up until midnight so we could watch the fireworks in London (on tv, of course). You could have watched it at the much more reasonable hour of 6:00pm. Heck, if I know you at all, that's probably what your kids were watching on the iPad while you were at dinner. 🙂

Looks like so much fun 🙂

Glad I wasn't the only one with peaceful plans to ring in the New Year. I counted down with my NY family via Facetime while visiting my sister & family in Austin, TX. Needless to say, we were all snoring by 11:01pm for the fourth year in a row. Happy New Year Shull Family! And Happy Birthday to your Grandma, too!

I was in bed by 8:30…after a couple weeks of being sick and hosting gobs of people, I was toast. It was the best way to bring in the new year 🙂 good times 🙂
