Have you tried Vaseline’s new Spray and Go lotion? I’m officially obsessed with it! First of all, it’s super inexpensive, you can find it at any grocery store or drug store, it smells delicious and it’s perfect to spray on squirmy kids. I like to put lotion on my kids after I bathe them and this makes it so much easier! Plus, I use it now a lot too. I’m going to use a lot of it this summer!
Andrew sent me these pictures from the boys’ camping trip in Missouri. Smith loved camping and fishing outside!
He has his rifle ready in the tent in case they run into any mountain lions. Or bears. Or Pink Foot (from Bubble Guppies…).
I say he’s not smiling because his dad made him wear a Yankee shirt…Andrew says he’s not smiling because he was forced to stop and stand still for a picture. You be the judge…
Then Nanny made him homemade chocolate chip cookies…and he’s all smiles! This kid had a fabulous time!
I am in love with Essie’s new summer nail polish collection! My favorite shade is this Naughty Nautical! It’s a little greenish-turquoise with some sparkle. Love!
I received my advanced copy of Boo Mama’s new book. This is a selfie of me on the airplane…I read the entire thing on my flight home from Boston. It is so good! I’ll be talking about it more next month!
I had a lot of comments about Kensington’s military jacket from our Boston trip. I bought it here at Old Navy (and it’s on sale!). It’s the perfect weight for outerwear.
And I’m totally digging this grown-up version too :).
Kensington brought this home from school. She thinks I’m 25 and weigh 6 pounds. That girl is fabulous!
Sheaffer and I flipped out over these little boy shoes last year…and Gap brought them back this year! We have both bought all three colors for our little guys (and they make pink ones for your girl too!). They’re perfect, perfect, perfect for summer! They rinse off easily, they look great with shorts or pants…and the boys can take them on and off themselves. I love these shoes!
During the Red Sox game, Kensington asked for some “lipstick” (which is really just pink Bonnie Bell lip gloss)…and then she took her own selfie with my phone. I think that’s pretty fabulous!
There is nothing worse than piling on heavy makeup during the hot days of summer. I kept reading about this Stila BB Cream in magazines and finally bought some. Oh.my.heavens! Love at first use! It’s light but has amazing coverage…and it has SPF 30! This is my new summer makeup staple!
My friend Ashley told me about this creamer yesterday and I immediately ran to Target to get some. Fabulous!
Besties 🙂
And I just love this wedge. Love it. Fabulous Friday should end on a wedge. It just should.
Need something fabulous and easy to make this weekend? How about my Key Lime Pie Ice Cream Cake? You won’t believe how easy it is! (And there is no baking involved!!)
Have a great weekend!

Jennifer, it's a BB cream, so it's all in one. It's really light like a tinted moisturizer but it stays all day (because a primer is built in). You'll love it! Have a great weekend!
Sheaffer {Pinterest Told Me To} says
Yes, I shall get pregnant and have a girl so she can wear that precious military jacket. And those wedges? I die.
LOVE the selfie of K! Too cute!
Oh…and I can't wait to try that lotion! LOTS and LOTS of good stuff here!
Jen says
Ok, I might have to buy that adorable military jacket and save it for when Ella can fit I to it! Kensington is just beautiful (like her mommy)! I just saw that creamer at the store yesterday…. I die!! Thin mint creamer?! I think so! Thanks again so much for guest blogging yesterday! Loved getting to "meet" you, Shay! 🙂

Must have wedges! Leopard and a wedge? Be still my heart. I want to try out that Stila BB, I have yet to find one with enough coverage that is still lightweight.
Kelley says
The "selfie" of Kensington made me lol! She is too cute. I love that wedge too 🙂

I want so many of the things you featured today! I'll have to try the Vaseline spray & go lotion. Which scent did you like best?
Also, I'm not too familiar with BB creams yet. Do you still put tinted moisturizer or foundation over it, or do you just use the cream and that's it?
Brandon and Lisa says
Cute pics of your kids!!! I will have to try the lotion and makeup!
Dawn says
Ooh- lots of goodies! 🙂 I'm a little obsessed with Essie…think ill need to add that one to my collection 😉

Hi! I love your blog!! Question about the Stila cream. Do you wear alone or with foundation over it?
Thanks!

Hi there!! I'm Darci {and blog over at the good life}… I just recently found your blog and have meant to say "hello", but my little guy always seems to get me just busy and distracted enough not to! Ha! Anyway, I had some time today and am catching up on my favorite reads! 🙂
So, since I'm a list person….
1.) I'm totally trying the Stila Cream! I've been using the L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier and while I really love it, I'm in between shades and am always up for trying something new.
2.) Love your green shorts!! So cute! I actually just bought some bright yellow ones from Old Navy (hello $15!!) and they are my new favorite thing!
3.) I can't even handle the creamer. CANNOT. I'll be making a trip to the store today and making it mine. Ha!!
4.) Your kiddos are absolutely precious!!!!
5.) Although super, super cheesy…. I have to add that my best friend text me yesterday to say that her husband just had the epiphany that my son (Jackson) looks "like a mini toddler version of Sean the Bachelor!". I'd never thought of that at all, but now that she said it — it's SO TRUE. Funny because my husband and I both have really dark brown hair, but our son is blonde! 🙂
And that's my novel of a first "hello"! 😉 Happy almost weekend!

This was such a happy post to end the week on 🙂 I might have to try that spray lotion! I have heard lots of good things about it. Happy weekend!
Mix and Match Mama says
I wear the BB cream alone! It has a primer built in…I think there is plenty of coverage (especially for warm/humid weather). It's fabulous!

YOU'RE fabulous!!!! and now I need pie.

Hi there! I've been following your blog since I found it when your bro started off as the Bachelor and you've helped this momma start cooking w/your fab and easy recipes! I had to finally comment to tell you that I literally just hit the "place order" button on Old Navy right before I read this post and bought my 2 yr old daughter that military jacket because I thought Kensington looked adorable in it from your Boston pics!! I saw it a few weeks ago and didn't buy it but then when I saw it on your daughter, I thought it was super cute. I also thought you two looked cute w/matching military jackets so I just ordered one for myself too 🙂 Old Navy and the Gap should send you coupons, LOL. Have a great weekend!

Lots and Lots of Fabulousness in this post! I love the Essie Polish and those Gap Shoes. Actually I think I'll swing on over to the Gap Site now and check them out.
Glad the camping trip went well. We all LOVE camping 🙂

He's DEFINITELY not smiling because of the Yankee's shirt. I'm be bawling if I was wearing that. 😉

I absolutely LOVE Kensington's answers about you! That is too cute. I think it's funny that kids always think I'm either 16 or 40 (I'm 29) … gotta love the extremes! 😉
Maritza says
Hi Shay!
can you please do a review on the Stila BB cream please?! I have oily skin and I'm looking for something light to put on my face instead of foundation.
Thanks!
