I just love a sandwich supper. There is something so simple and easy about sitting down with your family over a quick and delicious sandwich…or in our case slider supper.
I used wheat dinner rolls as the bread in this meal but you can use whatever slider size roll you like…or just make big sandwiches instead. This is enough chicken to feed 4 people…4 very happy people (and one happy mama because this meal is made in the slow cooker!).
Shopping List
1 1/2 pounds bonless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 teaspoons mustard
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 cups Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
8 dinner rolls, cut in half
Pickles and Chopped Red Onion to garnish
Layer your first six ingredients in your slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6 to 7 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours. Remove lid and shred chicken right inside the slow cooker.
Take each dinner roll and top with your chicken mixture. Garnish with cheese, red onion and/or pickles.
That’s it! Dinner is done!
I like to serve my sliders with a side of sweet potato fries. My favorite store bought variety is Alexia…
Enjoy your slider supper tonight!

This is one of our family's favorites. We usually have it on regular sized buns but will be trying the slider version soon. That's just so fun! Those are my favorite sweet potato fries too, as a matter of fact, we are having them as a side with tonight's dinner. Yum!

Man oh man, a slow cooker is waaaaay up there on my list of things to buy. Since moving out on my own, I've sloooowly collected kitchen things, but a crock pot just never happened. Now that it's getting colder, it just seems like the thing to do, right?

We made this last weekend with your Crock Pot BBQ Green Beans when we had company – 2 crockpots (with liners) made cooking and cleaning a cinch. So good! I added jalapenos to my sliders!

Hi, I am making this now. Is there no BBQ sauce in this recipe?
Mix and Match Mama says
It's a homemade BBQ sauce (the cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire Sauce and such are what makes up BBQ sauce). Enjoy!
