You guys know that I am meatball obsessed. They’re just so simple and easy to make…plus, my kiddos eat them up! Well, I’m also cheeseburger obsessed too. I looooove me a good burger!
Today, I’m so excited because we’re turning our meatballs into cheeseburgers. All the flavor and yummy taste but without the grill…perfect for busy nights.
This recipe makes about 9 large meatballs.
Shopping List
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs or Panko
1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
2 eggs, beaten
1 onion, finely chopped
generous pinches of salt and pepper
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, divided
1 1/2 cups ketchup
2 teaspoons mustard
Relish to garnish
Relish to garnish
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheese, eggs, onion, S&P, and 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Form into meatballs (I made 9 of them) and line them up on a foil lined baking sheet lightly sprayed with Pam.
Next, combine remaining 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard in a bowl. Top each meatball with sauce and bake about 15 to 18 minutes or until they’re browned and cooked through.
Garnish with a little relish.
We served our meatballs with some sweet potato tater tots…it was like eating a yummy cheeseburger…but not. Me plus a burger equals happiness :).

Looks amazing! Just curious, did you also make the sweet potato tots yourself or were they store bought? I'd love to try and make those as well if they are easy 😉 Thanks!

These meatballs were great! My hubby loved them . He even suggested using the sauce on a meatloaf!

I made these into 9 meatballs, and had to cook them for 35 minutes for the meat thermometer to read well done, as we don't like any pink showing in our beef.
They were very tasty, and reminded me of meatloaf!

I made these for dinner last week…we LOVED them! I didn't add onions or mustard (just due to our preferences), and made 11 meatballs–they took about 23 minutes to bake in our oven. My husband doesn't like meatloaf, so I was worried these would be too similar to that…but he LOVED these! They're definitely on our rotation now. Thanks for a great recipe, Shay!
