This is the body wipe version of the face wipes I mentioned above. These wipes are much larger than the face wipes and one wipe will tan your entire body. I use these wipes when I’m reallllly pale. Like beginning of April and short season is quickly approaching kind of pale.
Some quick tips…
1. Wash your hands really well when you’re done.
2. Don’t forget to use both sides of the towel.
3. Don’t go too heavy around knees and elbows.
4. Make sure you cover your feet and have someone help you do your back (or just do your legs and skip your upper body if you’re just trying to get a little leg color).
5. Let your body dry at least 5 minutes before putting your clothes back on.

Thanks for this tip! My wedding is in September and I am SOOOOOO PALE. I'm going to have to investigate a spray tan too. Any tips on that?

I may just have to shell out the bucks and get the face wipes. My teenage daughter and I use the Jergens self tanner lotion which works great for your body. It gradually builds up color and no funky smell. Cheap too if you catch it on sale and with coupons (there are always coupons for this come summer time). However we both break out easily so we have not used this on our face, we resort to bronzer powder to even out with the rest of our body. Great tip on the spray tan, did it wrong once before a wedding, ended up looking like a giraffe!

Any tips for spray tans? Love them or hate them? 🙂

I need those face towels NOW! And I miss you already. That is all.

Maureen – if you spray tan (which I have done several times for events), exfoliate first and then go a person who actually airbrushes it on you – not one of the machines that sprays it on you. I pay $30 for a session but it looks amazing!!

Hey Shay! Thanks for this post! Love the idea of the face wipes. Do you use your clarisonic everyday? I do and want to try the wipes but don't want it to all wear off with the clarisonic

Thank you so much for the tip on the face tanner. I have been looking for something good for my face forever. I live in Seattle so we bring paleness to a whole new level up here 🙂 Hope you're having a wonderful vacation with your sweet family!…Lana

Any idea if these tanners are safe to use when nursing/pregnant? 🙂

Here you are taunting us with self tanners while you're soaking up the REAL rays 🙂 My paleness is pretty severe as well… I should probably start some self-tanning STAT. hehehe

Thanks for the tips! How often do you use the body towelettes? Is it a once weekly thing like the ones for the face? And this may be a dumb question, but when you said "cover your feet", did you mean to cover them up (like with a towel) or to cover them (meaning rub the towel thoroughly) on there? Hope that makes sense. Thanks again!

I love the new foaming sunless tanner from Rodan & Fields. I just used it this past weekend. NO streaks, no orange!! It doesn't have an awful smell either. Its also safe to use on your face 🙂

Just bought the face towelettes so excited, thanks for sharing your tips:) I had the same question as Kristen, I use my clarisonic daily but don't want to wipe the tan away?
Mix and Match Mama says
I use my Clarisonic every day and yes, eventually, it does wipe off the tan. But I find that using a towelette once a week is enough!

Love the friends reference…seriously the best show ever. I use the St Tropez mousse and absolutely love it! But I'm always looking for a better brozner it seems – I might have to check out that MAC.

Do you still use your clarasonic brush after you apply the tanning lotion? Like that night and the rest of the week, it doesn't come off?

Hi Shay…. I have a few questions about the sunless wipes you recommended… are they good for sensitive skin? I'm kind of new to sunless tanners……. are these hard to use and if you wash your hands…. how do you get the color to be smooth/flowing from say your hand/ wrist up? I love that you say they don't streak!
