This recipe makes 4 (half-pound) burgers.
8 slices of good quality pepperoni
2 tomatoes, sliced
about 8 to 12 fresh basil leaves
Add your burgers to the grill and begin grilling (we do about 6 minutes or so each side). About a minute before you’re ready to take the burger off of the grill, add two two slices of pepperoni, a thick slice of tomato and one slice of fresh mozzarella to each patty. Grill another minute or so (the cheese will start to melt a little).
My kiddos ate these up! Burgers that have pepperoni on them and taste like a pizza…so good!
