We returned home from Boston on Sunday. I’m still reminiscing about our great weekend. I love, love, love our trips to Boston!
I’m pretty sure Andrew thinks I have Downton Abbey addiction issues. I told you guys last week, but I just started binge watching this show and basically this sums me up…

4. What we’ve been up to…
…then we’re here…
Swimming and bike riding have been what we’ve been up to lately. We can all bike ride together now (which is so much fun!)…and it’s not 105 degrees yet, so we’re taking advantage of all of that.
That 105 degree weather.
Together, the kids and I came up with some great chores (I mean…is flushing the toilet every time really a chore? Probably not…and yet, I feel like it needs to be included on this list because IT DOESN’T ALWAYS HAPPEN.) and some fun rewards (stay up 30 minutes later, swim past your bedtime, go get snow cones, etc.). The kids helped me pick a good place for their new chore chart and we’re going to attempt to stay motivated this summer. I’ll try and do a post on this soon!
7. What I’m excited about…
Baby Lowe is coming this summer!! We’re all super pumped about this new addition. Since they don’t know…we’re all guessing the baby’s gender and will wear that color to the hospital the day he/she is born. As of today, I’m wearing pink. I don’t know why…but I’m thinking girl! (To be fair, I thought Kensington was a boy and Smith was a girl…so basically, I’m never right and this baby is most likely a boy!) Before we scheduled our family vacation, we double checked our dates to make sure we didn’t miss the birth…but the closer we get, the more nervous I get! Let’s all pray Baby Lowe doesn’t arrive really early…because the Shull five would be so bummed!
8. What I’m watching/reading…
Duh. Downton Abbey.
Hello? Downton Abbey.
I brought these two tops to Boston and loved them both! They both work great for transitional weather because you can just throw a light jacket over them for an extra layer…
All sorts of fun Memorial Day stuff! Weather permitting…lots of swimming and being with friends and family!
Did I mention that I was watching Downton Abbey? Because I am.
This. Just being outside with my kiddos and enjoying the lazy days of summer.

i simply cannot imagine 105 degrees. do you go out in that heat? can you still sit by the pool in the afternoon? do you just get all your stuff done in the morning? i visited my cousin in louisiana in august many years ago and when you walked out the door you started sweating immediately. reading your blog is one of my morning favorites.

Haha! Yes, you have to go about as normal…but you do sweat a lot! We hang out by the pool and stay in the A/C as much as we can though!
