Wait for it friends…I created the easiest little pie recipe EVER. (It did not happen on my first attempt…)
This pie only has 4 ingredients plus the crust and in no time flat, you’ll be enjoying a delicious slice.
I made my version with chopped plums and sliced strawberries, but feel free to mix and match it any way you like. You can change it up and use peaches, double the amount of strawberries, blueberries…whatever fruit you love, add two cups and turn it into a pie! It’s as easy as…well, you know ;).
This recipe makes one 9″ pie.
Shopping List
Either 2 refrigerated pie crusts or enough homemade dough for two round 9″ crusts
1 cup of chopped plums
1 cup of sliced strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Lightly grease your 9″ pie plate and then fit it with your first uncooked pie crust. Set aside.
In a bowl, toss together your plums, strawberries, sugar and flour. Pour this mixture down over your pie crust. Top the pie with your second crust making sure to seal the edges down. Cut 3 or 4 slits across the top of your pie.
Pop your pie in the oven and bake about 35 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned. Remove from oven and allow to stand at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
Slice, serve and enjoy!
And one bonus pic…
…this kiddo was standing right next to me while I snapped pie pics because she could not wait to dig in! That’s the face of a girl who loves pie!

I made this today and the pie was really runny. How do I make it not so runny? It was an excellent treat!!

I’m going to guess your fruit was super ripe and juicy. I would add a little more flour next time!

I just bought a huge bag of cherries and I already own a cherry pitter. This is happening.
