I’m pretty certain that at one point, I shared this little recipe with you…but, we’ve been making them quite frequently lately, so I’m sharing it again. These little PB Honey Oatmeal Bites work at breakfast, as a snack, for dessert…are gluten-free (if you use the right kind of oatmeal) and totally delish. My kiddos love them when they get home from school, and I love them mid-day with my afternoon coffee. Bonus, they’re no-bake which makes them oh so easy!! xx

Peanut Butter Honey Oatmeal Bites
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 10 1x
Description
Whether you enjoy these at breakfast, as a snack or for dessert, they’re full of deliciousness!
Ingredients
- 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats (we use Bob Red Mill’s gluten-free)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Lightly spray a baking dish or cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine with a spoon, your oats, peanut butter and honey. Stir in your chocolate chips and combine. Shape this mixture into about 10 golf ball-size bites and sit each one on your prepared baking dish.
- I like to pop these in the freezer for about 20 minutes before serving. You can leave them in there longer and then just pull them out and allow them to come to room temperature about 10 minutes before enjoying them at a later date too.
Notes
We love to either add butterscotch chips or sub them out. Either way,

I make these but throw in chia seeds, shredded coconut, flax meal and rice krispies as well! I saw that you wrote somewhere that one of your kids weren’t allowed to bring peanut butter to school because a child was allergic. Here in NB, Canada you can’t send peanut butter anywhere…..which is sad. But I started using sunflower butter, it doesn’t have a strong taste at all and is allowed when you have to be nut or peanut free!

Love the recipe! I add chia seeds and some coconut as well!!!

We make something very similar to these but add a 1/3 cup of vanilla protein powder. My kids love them and I prefer they have these to a packaged snack. We keep them in the freezer so they are always on hand. No need to defrost.

Do you think maple syrup would work? I’m not a big fan of honey. But they look and sound delicious!
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! Let me know how it turns out!

Maple syrup worked great! I thought maybe they needed the honey to hold them together, but the peanut butter does the job. They are delicious!

Do you have to bake the balls? Or prep the oatmeal in advance?
Mix and Match Mama says
Nope! This is all no bake!!
