Today my baby is one month old. Yesterday we took her to the State Fair of Texas. Going to the fair is a tradition Andrew and I look forward to each year. Last year, I was standing in line waiting to order my onion rings when my cell phone rang. It was my infertility doctor letting me know that my 4th Interuterine Insemination hadn’t been successful (a.k.a. I wasn’t pregnant). We would go on to do two more unsuccessfully before we stopped using all infertility drugs and “accidentally” got pregnant. God blessed us when we weren’t even trying. He knew when we needed to get pregnant, not us. And he knew that if any of the 6 Interuterine Inseminations had worked, we wouldn’t have this beautiful little girl today. She is my miracle from God. God’s timing is not often our timing…but it’s ALWAYS the best timing.

LOVE your post and these pics! I knew you guys had trouble getting pregnant, but I didn’t know the extent of what you had to go through. What a wonderful blessing sweet Kensington is! 🙂

I accidentally found your blog last month when i typed in something about White Rock Half Marathon. I am running it this year. Anyway, I found you and I just love your blog! You are a beautiful mother with a beautiful family. I come visit every single day hoping you have posted something. I am from Dallas. Born and raised but we moved to Austin last year. There is no place like home and your blog makes me miss it!!!
God blessed you indeed. Isn’t that how he always works? He likes to do things His way so the world will know how awesome and mighty he is! Your baby is a testimony of that!

I ended up finding your blog from Pinterest Told Me To. Loved your meatloaf recipe and have now found that we both went through the struggles of infertility. It is encouraging to hear that it happened for you after stopping the treatments, here's to hoping we can be as fortunate!
