Ok, so my parents live in the middle of Southlake/Colleyville in a very normal neighborhood. They are within minutes of Southlake Shopping Center (wonderful shopping), grocery stores and stuff…but when you look out their back door, it looks like they’re in the middle of the country. The neighbors behind them own many, many acres (we think around 80) of undeveloped land with horses and cows. Even though I used to call this house home, it still excites me to see the horses and cows with each visit. The horses really love my mom because she feeds them well. Yesterday was my dad’s birthday, and he enjoyed taking his granddaughter out for a visit.
