So, I am always checking out my dear friends’ blogs. Even though I see some of these people weekly, I love checking their blogs and finding out these little tidbits of info about them that they only disclose via the web. These blogs also make it so helpful when keeping up with friends I don’t see that often. I decided it was time to let you know who’s who…Abby, Allison, Jessica, Kelly P., Kelly S., Kelly W., Kristen, Lisa, Loree, Lori, Mandy, Melissa, and Sarah are all girls from my Sunday school class at church. Andrew and I have been so blessed to meet these gals and their husbands. Our church friends have enriched our lives way beyond our expectations. I love these girls and their sweet children (many of whom I’ve kept in the church nursery).Andrea and Rachel are not only in our Sunday school class too but their families and ours have a regular dinner group that meets. We’ve shared so many meals over the last three years in each other’s homes. We went from three child-less couples to three kiddos with one on the way. Now, the three of us teach the three-year-olds together on Sunday mornings. What were we thinking?Erika and Whitney are also in my Sunday school class (sounds like an awesome class, doesn’t it?) but on top of that, they’re my partners in crime. We’re always out and about eating lunch, shopping and talking way too much. Anytime I need an opinion or advice, these girls have the answer.Sheaffer and Jeni are two of my sweetest friends. We have been able to do several Bible studies together, learn and share stories together, and figure out this mom thing together.Amber is married to Jordan…he is my longest friendship in the world. Jordan and I have been BFF since his birth (I’m six months older), and will be friends until we die. I just love the Massey family!Ashley, Hilary, Keisha, and Lauren all went to high school with me. Yup, we’re all Irving High girls. Lauren’s sister-in-law is Carrie and we grew up in the same church together. It’s so fun keeping up with friends from high school.Holly and Laura used to go to our church…but Holly moved home to Tulsa to be by her family and Laura moved home to Sweeny to be by hers. I don’t blame them at all! I love living near my mama too!Aubrey and I are family via three marriages. I had to marry Andrew, whose brother Jonathan had to marry Gretchen, whose cousin Nick had to marry Aubrey in order for us to know each other. Her adventures living in Germany with two little girls makes her blog very worthy to be read. Though we’re thousands of miles a part, we have become friends.Jennifer is my best friend in Missouri. I met her three years ago at a wedding and fell in love. We have so much in common (even the same birthday), and it makes my trips up to Missouri so much fun when I see her.Manda also goes to my church but she works for us as well. I say “works” because she told me on Wednesday that she’s coming back (and we leave her name on everything because we know it’s true). Right now, Manda is fighting like a champ to beat cancer. Pray, pray, pray for her and her family!!Jody and Nancy are my Baby Boot Camp friends. Together, we have worked out in the rain, freezing cold, high wind, and blistering heat. These girls (and their kids) have become instant friends. It’s been a great year getting to know them.Michelle and I go way back! When she first started working for my dad, I was in high school. As I got older, I began working there too. She is my prayer warrior! Anytime I need spiritual counsel, wisdom or a great prayer, she’s my faithful friend. I love this girl!Kara and I have been BFF since junior high (no pictures will ever be posted of me from junior high). She is my constant companion. Her sister Dani has always been like a little sister to me too. These two girls are like family.
So these are my friends. I am so blessed!
Love, Dani says
I have always thought of you as a sister too. Love you girl
