On Thursday night, after Kensington’s “meet the teacher night” at pre-school, we loaded up and drove to Missouri to see Andrew’s folks.
My child cannot sleep or rest without this pink blanket on her head. What?!
On Friday morning, the weather was sooooo beautiful! We all decided to go play on the back deck in our pjs. Fall had arrived in Missouri :).

What a goober! I took this picture at lunch on Saturday. He had about 8 puffs in his mouth.
Gretchen and I had planned Broderick and Kensington’s birthday palooza for about 6 months. We were going to eat at this awesome gourmet hot dog place and then head back to their house for dessert. Kensington slept through the entire dinner. She fell asleep in the car on the way there and then stayed asleep while we all ate our yummy hot dogs (I had the Philly Cheese steak Dog…so good!).

She woke up for gifts and cake :). We were celebrating Kensington’s 2nd birthday (September 15) and Brode’s 4th (August 25).

Then she covered up her head and slept for 2 hours.

I'm SO envious! I want to be in Missouri too! I can't imagine many things as fun as hanging out with G-dawg and Shay Shay Shull. 🙂
