This isn’t a recipe…it’s a strong suggestion :). As much as I love homemade chili, I don’t think it’s as good as Bear Creek’s Darn Good Chili. My mom and I have been using this chili starter for years and years and it’s really, really yummy (not to mention super quick cooking…your total meal will be ready in under 30 minutes). Plus, it’s a Mix and Match dream because you can eat it vegetarian or you can add ground beef, turnkey, chicken, sausage…plus any veggies your family loves like corn, onions, squash, peppers…the possibilities are endless.
Now…I have tried Bear Creek’s other soup starters and am less than impressed. I wouldn’t really recommend any of the other ones, but this one, you must try on a chilly fall night. It’s always sold on the soup aisle, so look for it the next time you’re out.
We had it with ground beef and chopped onions on this night.
And of course, topped it with cheese and sour cream :).
While I cooked, Kensington played with her Play-doh pizza kitchen :).
Cozy up and enjoy some chili tonight!

I'll have to try this. I do like the potato soup starter and we fix it up. Love your ideas. Keep them coming!
