When fall arrives, my family immediately starts thinking about Haystacks. Usually, they’re made with butterscotch chips (which I adore!) but today I thought, why not chocolate? Why not? Haystacks are a great method of creating any type of candy you desire…go nuts…change out the “chip”, add in candy pieces, nuts…whatever and make your own.
Shopping List
1 (11 oz) package chocolate chips
1 (19 oz) package Chow Mein Noodles
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
In a microwavable bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together (stirring every 30 seconds), stir in noodles. Drop by tablespoon fulls onto wax paper to set (one hour).
That’s it. Crazy simple method for creating crunchy candy.

I made these once with Fiber One cereal. I'm gonna have to try these butterscotch chips you talk about. 🙂

I think marshmallows added in would be divine 🙂
