My husband suggested several months ago that I make a hot fudge sundae bundt cake. (He’s such a smart guy!) I decided special cake #50 (we’re half-way through!) would be a great time to debut his idea. Love you Andrew!
Shopping List
1 box of white cake mix
2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup of veggie oil
1 1/4 cups water
4 eggs
Hot fudge, warmed in the microwave about a minute
Whipped Cream
Sprinkles
Cherries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease (I use Pam) a 10 inch bundt pan or mini bundt pans.
In mixing bowl, combine cake mix, puddings, oil, water and eggs with electric mixer. Pour into prepared pan and bake 40-45 minutes (or 17-18 minutes for mini cakes) or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cake rest on counter in pan 10 minutes. Then, invert cake onto serving plate to finish cooling.
Once cake is cooled, drizzle hot fudge on top, dollop with whipped cream, add sprinkles and a cherry.
The perfect cake for a celebration…and 50 original bundt cakes is worth celebrating at our house.

So cute! Happy 50th! I see you sometimes make mini-bundts and was wondering if all of your bundt cake recipes translate well to cupcakes too? PS – I let my husband choose the next one I make and he picked the Dr. Pepper one, his favorite soda.

Hi Maureen,
Yes, all of the bundt cake recipes can be made into cupcakes. Bake them about 18 minutes. You guys will love the Dr. Pepper! It's delish! XOXO
