For Kensington’s 4th birthday, we hosted a French Bistro Party. All of the food had a French theme (French Onion Paninis, Quiche, French Vanilla Cupcakes, etc.). I found this dip on Pinterest but I needed to French-ify it. So…I added my French toast ingredients to the dip and voila…a dip was mix and matched. It was so good. I’m talking, really, really good. I couldn’t eat enough of this delicious dip. Plus, it was super, super easy to make. I made it two days in advance, covered it with Saran Wrap and placed it in the fridge until party time. This dip will liven up any holiday buffet table.
Shopping List
1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened (not reduced fat or fat-free!)
1 stick of butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup toffee bits
chocolate graham crackers for dipping
Using an electric mixer, cream butter and cream cheese together in a medium sized bowl. Beat in powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and syrup. Stir in butterscotch chips and toffee bits. Chill until ready to eat. Serve with chocolate graham crackers.
Trust me…this dip will disappear in no time (especially if you invite me to the party!).
