3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 cup chocolate chips
Maple Syrup to drizzle
Preheat oven to 325 degrees (if baking that day).
Place torn bread in a lightly greased 9×13 inch pan. Pour milk over bread and let it stand about 10 minutes. Using hands, blend bread and milk mixture well.
Stir eggs together with the next 4 ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour this mixture over your bread mixture.
At this point, you can cover and refrigerate your casserole over night or you can go ahead and bake it. When you’re ready to bake it, bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes.
Slice and serve with maple syrup on top.
Oh my heavens! This recipe is just soooooo good! Now here’s the thing…you can of course, mix and match it.
1. If your grocery store bakery doesn’t sell Challah bread, you can substitute torn Brioche bread or 8 large croissants, torn. Challah, Brioche and Croissants will each give you the buttery and fluffy bread you need.
2. If you don’t want to use chocolate chips, you can either leave them out or substitute chopped pecans, dried cranberries, butterscotch chips, etc. Change it up to make your family happy.
From my table to yours, happy eating!

Sounds delicious can't wait to try it!
Quick question tho! Once you mix the egg mixture up do you just pour on top of bread or mix into the bread?
Thanks!
