A yellow and chocolate marble cake…it’s the best of both worlds all swirled together. I kept my cake unfrosted…but of course, you could add a variety of yummy frostings to the top. Simple, delicious and sure to satisfy both the chocolate lover and the yellow cake lover in your family.
Shopping List
1 box of yellow cake mix
2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup of veggie oil
1 1/4 cups water
4 eggs
1 cup chocolate chips, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease (I use Pam) a 10 inch bundt pan
In mixing bowl, combine cake mix, puddings, oil, water and eggs with electric mixer. Pour two-thirds of the batter into prepared pan. Take your melted chocolate chips and beat them into the remaining one-third of the batter. Pour the chocolate batter on top of the yellow batter.
Taking a knife, gently swirl the two batters together inside the bundt pan. (Be careful not to swirl them too much.)
Bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cake rest on counter in pan 10 minutes. Then, invert cake onto serving plate to finish cooling.
So simple, right? And fun! Who doesn’t love a cake that gives you the best of both worlds?
