Starting this September, we’ll be having Meal Planning Monday each week…which will hopefully inspire you, help you plan out your weekly meals, and save you time and money at the grocery store.
In working on my Meal Planning Mondays, I’ve realized that so many of my recipes are simple One Pound recipes. That means you really just need a pound of ground meat (beef, turkey or chicken) and then you can whip up dinner in no time. I know some families don’t necessarily eat red meat but they can still make most of my recipes by swapping out a pound of ground beef for a pound of ground poultry (or vice versa).
So, you’ll now notice that I have One Pound listed in my category options on the sidebar, and then this One Pound button to remind you that you just need a pound of meat…and it doesn’t matter which one you chose…when making certain recipes.
I’m trying to simplify things over here! Join me in the kitchen…cooking for your family should be fun and easy!
And don’t forget this…
…coming to you September 2!

Great idea! Excited to try some new recipes! I live in "hotdish" land (Minnesota) and we make lots of those with one pound of meat! 🙂

So…in a weeks time, how many recipes are "go to" and how many new?
Do you have set "beef", "chicken", "veggie" meal days?

Love it! I meal plan and it has been such a blessing. After work prepping for dinner is much less stressful when you already know what you're going to make, and have the ingredients from one shopping trip in the fridge/pantry. Looking forward to seeing these new recipes! 🙂

Love it! I always have ground beef and turkey on hand frozen in 1 pound portions for those nights I just need something quick…which usually turns out to be tater tot casserole. I'm glad to have a few different recipes to try!
