You know I love a Neiman Marcus Bar, right? They’re like little cheesecake bars with a cookie crust…they’re perfection on a plate! This bar gets a fall twist with a little apple and cinnamon…and then a drizzle of caramel sauce. The perfect bar to enjoy outside on a cool day. Enjoy!Shopping List
1 box of yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 stick melted butter
1 box of powdered sugar (about 4 cups)
8 oz package of cream cheese, softened
1 cup of grated apple (see below)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Caramel topping (the kind you use on ice cream)
1 cup of grated apple (see below)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Caramel topping (the kind you use on ice cream)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease one 13×9 inch pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, 2 eggs and melted butter. Spread in bottom of pan.
In a second bowl, beat with electric mixer, powdered sugar, 2 more eggs and cream cheese until smooth. Next, stir in the grated apple and cinnamon. Spread apple mixture on top of crust mixture.
Bake 35-40 minutes until edges are brown and center set (it will still be slightly wobbly in the middle).
Cool on counter 30 minutes, then refrigerate 2 hours up to 2 days before slicing and serving.Slice cooled bars and drizzle caramel sauce down over the tops when you’re ready to serve.
To get my one cup of grated apple, I peeled two Granny Smith Apples and grated them with a cheese grater. Simple and fast!

Ahhhh, I can't even look at this. It looks soooo easy to make, but I've overloaded myself with treats lately. "Maybe I'll just make it for coworkers," she lied.

I made these for a girls night this week, along with the apple spice cobbler and your slow cooker baked apples stuffed with oatmeal. Everything was a huge hit! But these bars were everyone's favorite! I absolutely LOVE all of these fall desserts!

I made these this past weekend for a party (and kept a few at home for myself and my family ;)) and they are SOOO good! Easy and so yummy! Thanks for a great fall treat! I am obsessed with anything pumpkin or apple in the fall. And caramel apple?! Even better!
