This was just a bowl of comfort.
I love a yummy and hearty dinner waiting on me at night. This was so simple and so yummy. Comfort food.
Shopping List
1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
3 cups of chicken stock
1/2 pound of short-cut pasta (I used a half a box of shells)
Salt and Pepper
Sage to garnish, optional
In your slow cooker, layer in your chicken, soup, stock and a big pinch of S&P. Cover and let cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 3 hours. About 30 minutes before you’re ready to eat, stir in your pasta and cover again to let it cook. Once the pasta is tender (check it after 30 minutes), ladle into bowls and serve with a little sage (or any other fresh herb you love).
Simple. Hearty. Weeknight Dinner.

I made your meatballs last night with the pesto in the sauce. They were a BIG hit! My hubby is starting to look forward to Shay meals around our house. 🙂 Can't wait to try this one too!

Yes! The noodles go in uncooked!

Sounds like we could throw in some spinach or broccoli in this to add VEGGIES, no?
Laura says
Is it ok if the chicken is frozen?
Mix and Match Mama says
If the chicken is frozen, just cook it about an hour longer!
