Hello gorgeous.
This bar combines two of my favorite things…chocolate and pralines. That praline crunch with the chocolate bar…perfection.
Shopping List
1 box of chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1 stick of butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
splash of milk
2 cups chopped praline candy or praline pecans (I used pecans)
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Grease (I use Pam) a 9×13 baking dish. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, vegetable oil, condensed milk and eggs with an electric mixer.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
While the bars are cooling, prepare your frosting. In a mixing bowl, combine butter and powdered sugar with a splash of milk. Add more sugar if it’s too thin or more milk if it’s too thick. Once your frosting reaches the desired consistency, stir in your praline candy or pecans. Top cooled bars with praline frosting.
I buy my praline pecans on the bulk food aisle of my grocery store but a great praline candy would work well too! You just need some praline crunch to stir in your frosting. Simple!
A little chocolate and a little crunch…yummy!
