This is little Smith’s very favorite meal. He loves this simple supper…it’s a pasta that tastes like pizza. It’s such a family friendly supper (that’s super simple to make!).
I made mine in an oven-safe skillet but if you don’t have one, then just transfer your pasta mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish before popping it into the oven. Big flavors without a big fuss!
Shopping List
1 pound of pasta cooked to al dente (I used shells but you could use ziti, penne or rigatoni)
1 pound of ground beef (or ground chicken or turkey)
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 (10 oz) can of condensed tomato soup
1 (14 oz) bottle of pizza sauce
1 cup of sliced pepperoni (I used Turkey pepperoni but you use what you love)
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup Panko or breadcrumbs
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In your skillet, brown your ground beef with your onion and garlic over medium-high heat in a drizzle of EVOO. Once browned and crumbly, sprinkle with a little S&P, reduce heat to low and stir in your soup, pizza sauce, cooked noodles and pepperoni.
At this point, if your skillet isn’t oven-safe, transfer the mixture to an 8×8 baking dish.
Sprinkle your cheese and breadcrumbs down over the top of the casserole, cover with foil and bake 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
Remove from oven and serve.
This is the perfect weeknight meal. Smith will tell you, it’s delicious!

I highly suggest using half ground beef, half ground sausage 🙂

I'm curious how it'd taste without the ground beef….maybe with just pepperoni!? Thanks for sharing so many great recipes!
