Hi! It’s been a fun (and crazy weather) week! We had one day with a high of 75 and then 12 hours later, it was snowing. That’s Texas weather for you. Happy March!
Day 57: See…everyone looks good in red Wellies :).
Day 58: Smith and Nixon’s very first tee ball practice! Erika and I are hoping to have years and years of this fun together!
Day 59: The life of a food blogger’s children. There are always spoons to be licked :).
Day 60: Our Saturday was very relaxing 🙂
Day 61: This is what my life has become…Rainbow Loom madness. Thanks to lots of coffee, lots of You Tube videos and lots and lots of patience, I have figured it out. The funny part is that I bought this for Kensington to do on her own while I get things done around the house…and it has ended up being a fun thing for us to do together. We just sit there and work as a team. I’m actually really blessed that we have this little awful annoying stupid complicated fun craft to do together.
Day 62: It’s 8:15 on a Monday morning and this guy isn’t at work…why? Because we had another ice/snow day! Now…he did go to the gym at 5:00 a.m. (probably slid there in his car), went to Starbucks and got me a coffee and finally headed in at 9:30…he didn’t just stay home all day…but we enjoyed our extra time with him :).
Day 63: Spring hair is in the air!! I cut a few inches off :).

Hahahahaha!!!! I'm laughing about that rainbow loom!! Glad you have it figured out! You can teach E (when she's 7). 🙂

Love the picture of the boys together!! So many fun years ahead of them!! ❤

You HAVE to rainbow loom with two pencils- it so much easier for tiny fingers (and grown up ones) to do.
hHre is the link we used at my house— game changer!

Sounds like your weather pattern just pushed itself right on up to Virginia from Texas b/c we had the same exact thing. 70 on Sunday and 20 on Monday morning, but we enjoyed the snowdays with Dad! 🙂

I bought my girls rainbow loom for the same reason – all of my friends told me it was so easy and kept the kids busy. Five minutes after opening the box I found myself learning how to make bracelets from 13 year olds on you tube and getting none of my laundry done lol

I cannot wait to see your hair! And, i'm glad y'all got the rainbow loom- now I can determine if I want to battle it with my 6 year old! It's doubtful!

Your first picture of Smith in the Wellies is HILARIOUS….and he looks so tickled. 🙂

After reading your comments about the Rainbow Loom, I think you will love this post by Kelle Hampton about rainbow looming with her daughter, who is close to Kensington's age. http://www.kellehampton.com/2014/01/somewhere-over-rainbow-loom.html
I'm sure it will give you a good laugh. I have to say, I'm so glad my daughter is still too young for the loom!

You are the best for sharing this!!! AND I swear I'm coming to Dallas soon to visit you and those sweet babies!! And the Rainbow Loom…will be the death of me. LOL. I feel ya.

Wait a second – you got a haircut, and we didn't get to see a picture of the finished hair do? Major disappointment! Dying to see; when will you be sharing? 🙂 Also, the pic of Smith with the wellies? CLASSIC!! LOL

The photo of Kensington in the bubble bath should be in a magazine. It is precious!
