Memorial Day Menu

It’s almost Memorial Day weekend!  In my heart, this is the beginning of summer.  Let’s fire up the grill, grab a patio chair, throw on a swimsuit and spend the weekend outdoors with the people we love most.  All you need is some yummy food…and I have that covered.

Happy Memorial Day!
Menu #1
I love Sheaffer’s Black Bean Dip!  This stuff is perfect with chips, perfect as a side, it’s just perfect!!

This Berry Fruit Salad is light and fresh and full of red, white and blue.
And for Burger #1, you could pick my Cheddar Beer Burgers for you festive celebration…or…
…my Tomatillo and Pineapple Burger as Burger #2!
Both burgers would be perfect for any poolside celebration!
For dessert, you need to make one (or all) of these yummy treats…
…my very favorite pie in the whole wide world…Strawberry Banana Pie.  You make it the day before, pop it in the fridge and then devour it the next day.  It is fabulous!
And you should probably make these too…
…my Strawberry Cupcakes with Blueberry Cream Cheese Frosting would make the perfect festive dessert!
And because I just couldn’t resist…one more dessert for your weekend…
These Mint Chocolate Oreo Brownies use ice cream in the batter…yes, ice cream.  They are seriously delicious!

I hope you have the best weekend!  I’ll be back on Sunday with Bar #40!

Question on the strawberry-banana pie: it uses only 3 oz of cream cheese? It sounds delicious! Going to make it for a BBQ this weekend.

  • Mix and Match Mama May 22, 2014 at 4:09 pm

    Yes! Only 3 ounces!
