Um, we’re not even going to call this a recipe. We’re going to call this a new idea for a condiment for nights when you’re making hot dogs yet once again.
During the summer, we grill out hot dogs, brats, and/or sausages at least once (if not twice) a week. The other night, we were about to grill Italian turkey sausages and I thought I’d whip up a sauce to put on top instead of just ketchup…and we loved it! We love, love, loved it! I think this sauce would be great on any type of brat, sausage or even a burger too.
Here’s what you do…
Mix about a cup of orange marmalade (the kind you find on the jelly aisle) with one chopped jalapeno pepper (seeds removed for less heat) and 5 or 6 green onions, chopped.
See, simple, right? The spicy/sweet combo really complimented the Italian sausage.
Told you tonight’s supper was an easy one :).
Have a great day!!

This looks delicious – sweet and hot – just the way I like it!
Did Kensington and Smith eat the jalapeno marmalade, too?

So good and easy. I think I'll try it on grilled drumsticks, too! You're always there when I need help out of the "what in the world are going to eat for dinner" rut!

I love this recipe…. or condiment. 🙂 I like using marmalade sauces and was searching for one. I'll definitely try this.
