Happy Thursday!
Before we get to my Instagram pics, you need to click here and read Erika’s blog today. She has started a new series called Owning It where she’s asking her friends to confess some crazy things they do (or know). My crazy list is up today! Read it here.
Day 260: After school, I came downstairs and saw these three little backpacks hanging up and it made my heart happy. After I posted the picture to Instagram, many of you asked when Ashby would be home…and as of now, they’re thinking before the end of the year…so, let’s all just pray that’s the case. Thank you for asking :).
Day 261: Erika, Narci and I treated ourselves to a little Dry Bar while the kiddos were in school. I don’t know what it is about Dry Bar…but I would rather go there than get a manicure. (I think it’s the relaxing chick flicks on the TV, the soothing atmosphere and knowing that I won’t have to wash my hair again for at least 4 days).
Day 262: Erika and I made it to Nashville for Dot Mom!!
Day 263: We spent the afternoon shopping and eating our way through Franklin, TN!!
Day 264: Back home where I belong…with these two sweeties. I missed them (and their daddy!) so much!
Day 265: We spent the morning at the park and then had an hour before we needed to pick up Kensington from school. I worked and he played on the rug right by my desk the entire time. I love that he loves being with his mama.
Day 266: My caption read, “Here’s hoping you find this Tuesday funny too!” Kensington was all smiles on her way to school :).

You get four days from a blow out?! Lucky! How do you do that with working out? I get so sweaty that dry shampoo isn't even an option!

I agree totally about the Dry Bar! There's just something so luxurious about not having to do your own hair. And for whatever reason, it just stays SO well for so long!

Headed to Nashville today … & I think I'm most excited about visiting Franklin while i'm there!

Love the 3 little backpacks! When we were waiting and aching for our girls to be home, I would just go in their room and sit and pray. The room planning and buying is pretty good therapy 🙂

What a nice week you all had, I love that you post so early Texas time as I always to sit down to read while feeding my baby at 11am Irish time!

For some reason, I'm still cracking up about "we should go dancing". Hahahaha!!!!
I completely agree about Dry Bar! The atmosphere, someone fixing your hair, not having to do it yourself….fabulous!!!
Thanks for teaming up this am!!! 🙂

Ok, I'm that girl that wears a nude bra almost daily. What types of bras did you invest in? I need some suggestions. HELP! 🙂

Fun! I love your blog. Made your sausage and shell pasta (with spaghetti noodles) and it was another delish dish. This pumpkin ravioli looks yummy too. Thanks for sharing! Can you help our family come up with a boy name?! I have many girl names I adore but cannot come up with a single one (besides ones that are super popular) for a little guy! Please share some of your favorites!

Love that Smith loves being with you. Mine son wants to go everywhere with me, MNO, he always says, I want to go too, I'll sit there and be really quiet, bless his heart. Kensington has the cutest little smile. Such a happy girl!

I also know the words to every Barry Manilow song as well thanks to my Mom. I actually went to see him in concert last year in honor of my Mom who passed away 3 years ago. Loved every minute of it!

Fun answers for Erika series. Ok I get that nude bras are boring but what does one wear under a white shirt? And what kinda bras did u find that are fun but don't show through clothing?

I never learned to dive either and now I don't feel as bad about it. ha ha I have a feeling you will probably learn how:)
We don't have a Dry Bar here, but if it means 4 days without having to do hair, I would be thrilled.
