Friday Favorites


Yay!  It’s Friday!!  I hope you have fun weekend plans…we’re visiting the local pumpkin patch and watching a lot of football this weekend :).
As always, I’m linking up with my girls Narci, Andrea and Erika and their Friday Favorites.  Here you go friends…
Two years ago, OPI introduced the Germany Collection as their fall/winter line and Erika bought me one of their little sample packs as part of my birthday gift…and listen, two years later, they are still my favorite colors.  
I was painting my nails Every Month is Oktoberfest this week and thought, I should really remind everyone about this set of polishes (I’ve now purchased the full size polishes several times over).  My very favorites are Every Month is Oktoberfest, Berlin There Done That, Danke Shiny Red (perfect for Christmas!!) and Nein! Nein! Nein! Okay fine.

Speaking of things I love…this sweatshirt-shirt from Loft is another new favorite of mine :).  It’s like a sweatshirt but not.  Love, love, love it…and I love that today it’s 40% off!  No code needed, just add it to your card and the discount will be applied.

My friend Aubrey shared this on Facebook and I really loved it.  I guess I’m planning on being the meanest mom in the world too :).

I found this coat online Wednesday morning and thought it was super cute (and on sale), so I mentioned it on Facebook…well, many of my FB friends loved it too, so I thought you might as well.  Someone even said that it was very “Olivia Pope”…which is kind of the ultimate compliment, right? Happy coat season!

Psssst…don’t tell anyone but if you skip the frosting, it’s a yummy muffin to go along with your morning coffee ;).

    Random question but how do you fold your jeans with booties, I just purchased the always skinnys from Gap and a new pair of bootie!! I am clueless when it comes to the fold though! Have a wonderful weekend =)

    So…I've been reading your blog for ages and I think this may be the first time I've ever left a comment. I love, love, love OPI nailpolish, and though I don't have the Germany line, I am currently wearing Every Month is Oktoberfest. I love the darker colors for the cooler months. I love your blog~I look forward to reading it each day, and I have made so many of your recipes~each one of them are so yummy and my four boys and hubby always love whatever it is I made from your blog. 🙂 Just thought I'd share. Thanks for sharing your life with us!

    Did you end buying the Olivia Pope coat? I love it in black. I was just wondering if you did buy it or if any of your readers did, how does the coat look if it isn't zipped? I find that when the zipper is asymmetrical, it doesn't look good left unzipped (and I am a non zipped coat person)!
