Happy Friday! Today truly is a “good” Friday! I love Easter weekend and everything it represents. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!
Back when I blogged about binge watching TV, many, many, many of you suggested I watch Gilmore Girls…and friends, I love it! Right now, I’m still on the first season, but I can already tell it’s going to be a really sweet show. I wish my girls were old enough to watch this with me…such a sweet mother/daughter show. Thanks for your suggestions! I’m slowly working my way through them :).
How pretty is this sweet reader named Whitney?! She emailed me this pic earlier this week because she tried my whole “going to sleep with your hair in a wet bun thing” and loved it! Doesn’t her hair look good?!?! I love it!
Speaking of sweet readers, I mentioned earlier this week that I was going back for another skin check (I went on Tuesday) because after last fall, I will be going every six months for the rest of my life. Well, a reader named Heather emailed me this link…it’s a video for “your 16 year old self” and it is so good! You should watch it and you should show it to your tweens and teens too. Tanning beds, sunburns and skin cancer are no joke. Click here to see it.
One of my sweet friends from high school (Bethany) sent me two of these Soul Sister mugs…one for me and one to give to my soul sister of choice. Well, Andrea and I are always texting each other and then hashtagging #soulsister at the end, so I gifted her a mug too (that along with the fact that she and I consume more hot beverages in a day then any of our other friends do in a week!).
These two mugs came with this really sweet note…
Thank you sweet Bethany…I would show you a picture of us from high school but the amount of makeup and Aqua Net we used in every picture I have would scare you to death (we were both officers on the dance team…and let me tell you…we piled on the Revlon back in the day!). Along with these (and other) mugs, The Sister Studio has a lot of other really cute things.
I talked about my faith on Tuesday and mentioned that I love the Bible app for my phone…well, many of you asked what apps I like for my kids, and their very favorite is this Bible for Kids app…
…all three of my kiddos love this interactive app. And listen, if you’re rusty on your Bible knowledge, there is no shame in you looking through it too :). This app does a great job at explaining the Bible in a fun, interactive, and engaging way.
I typically post my bar recipes on Sunday mornings…but since this Sunday is Easter (and I’m going to post Easter stuff), I thought I’d share my bar with you today. This is bar #81!

I hope you guys have a wonderful Easter weekend! Love you all!
