I thought it only made since to make Halloween Krispies Treats the weekend before Halloween.
They’re easy, they’re super kid friendly, and best of all, they’re yummy.
I used Cocoa Krispies but of course, you could sub with Rice Krispies. I also added in candy corn and peanuts…because if you haven’t had candy corn together with peanuts, you’re missing out. It tastes just like a Baby Ruth bar. So. Good.
Grab your kids, grab some marshmallows and let the magic begin!
Shopping List
6 cups Cocoa Krispies cereal
3 tablespoons butter
4 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup candy corn
1 cup cocktail peanuts
1 cup white chocolate chips
Halloween sprinkles
Pour your cereal into a large mixing bowl, set aside.
Grease (I used Pam) a 9×13 baking dish. Set aside.
Over medium heat, melt butter in sauce pan. Add in marshmallows, stirring until melted. Pour over cereal. Quickly stir in candy corn, peanuts, white chocolate chips and sprinkles. Mix well and then spread into greased baking dish. Spray a spatula with Pam and press it over the top to get the cereal to stay put in the baking dish.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
So simple, so festive, so delicious!

I'm thinking of making these but my son has a peanut allergy … will they still be yummy without the peanuts? He can eat pecans, so maybe I'll "mix and match" them!!
