We love making mixes at our house. This one has Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, Vanilla Chex, marshmallows and Halloween candy in it.
Smith and I made this together one day and I kept calling it Monster Mix (because hello? I love alliteration!), but Smith kept calling it Bat Mix because he said that was so much scarier.

Monster Mix, Bat Mix, Spooky Mix, Halloween Mix…just make the mix. Your little pumpkins will love it!
This recipe makes a ton! You’ll get about 12 cups worth of mix out of it.
Shopping List
4 cups of Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
4 cups Vanilla Chex cereal
8 oz white candy coating or almond bark
1 (9 oz) bag fall colored M&Ms
1 (9 oz) bag candy corn
a big handful or so of Mellowcreme Pumpkins
2 cups mini marshmallows
Halloween sprinkles
Lay wax paper down over your kitchen counters to pour your Monster Mix on.
In a large mixing bowl, combine your Cheerios and Chex together.
In a microwavable bowl, melt your candy coating, stirring every 45 seconds. Once it’s melted, quickly pour it over your cereal mixture and toss. Working quickly, add in your M&Ms, candy corn, Mellowcreme Pumpkins, mini marshmallows and sprinkles and then pour the mixture down over the wax paper to dry (about 10 minutes). Once it’s dried, store in an airtight container.
This would be a really cute Halloween treat for teachers, neighbors, friends or family. Just tie it up in a little clear bag and add an orange or black ribbon.
We heart Monster Bat Mix :).
