Oh friends…I’m at my in-law’s house right now in Missouri and the food is FABULOUS! My mother-in-law makes the best cookies, always has coffee brewing and prepares an excellent Thanksgiving feast. The eatin’ is good around here!
On Friday, I’m going to take my leftover Thanksgiving food and turn it into this…
This is Ashby’s first trip up to Andrew’s parents’ house…so, it has me reminiscing about Kensington’s first trip to the farm ;).
I also bought these two sweaters because they were on sale, totally cute and really comfy. They come in 11 different colors too!
First road trip as a family of five! Lots of pictures coming this way next week :).
I’m going to be lame and say the drive home :). The drive up is always fun because there is so much to look forward to…but the drive home is always just long.
Well, I just wrapped up cookbook #3. What? What? Yes! Book #3 hits shelves September 1 and over the last month, I wrote, made and photographed my last 42 recipes for the book. #imtired
These two books…
Um, besides the above? Because I’m pretty flippin’ excited about that! I’m also excited about all of this Christmas stuff happening right now! If you missed my Monday post, we made our annual Christmas Traditions Bucket List. You can see all of it here.
And on Monday…
…hold on to your booties girls…Five Days of Fabulous begins and it’s gonna be AWESOME!
I’m watching every Christmas movie that I can get my hands on! A few years ago, I even did a post about my favorite Christmas movies. You can read it here.
I mean…
‘Tis the season for Jude Law in The Holiday :).
I think this is pretty obvious.
I also did a post a few years ago about my favorite Christmas music. You can see that here.
Jeans//Booties//Scarf//Jacket//Tee
My new very favorite jeans are on repeat around here. And by repeat, I mean, I am considering sleeping in them. #dontwanttotakethemoff
And that tee hiding under my jacket? Go ahead and buy two. I bought it in white and black…and then in navy. It’s flowy in all the right places.
And then there’s this sweater…
…y’all! Isn’t it cute?!?! And it’s so soft too! I mean…I’m pretty sweater sensitive and this one is by far the softest I’ve bought this year. It’s loose in all the right places and just comfy. I bought this red and white stripe with the grey detail but look at the other colors…
…I mean, I want them all.
See them all here.
And pssssst…my leopard booties are five years old, but you can find some other cute ones here.
We’re driving back home late Thursday night, so that on Friday, we can head to our town square’s annual Home for the Holidays and then on Saturday, we hit my parents’ town square for their Christmas festivities. I blogged about both of them here last year. If you’re local, you should visit both. Head to the historic McKinney Town Square and Southlake Town Center.
Notta enchilada.
Well, like I said above, I blogged all of my favorite Christmas traditions on Monday. You can see them all here.
And two more things…
1. At 10:00 PM CST tomorrow night, I will post my last $250 Nordstrom Gift Card giveaway! The post will go up tomorrow night and stay up through the weekend. It’s your last chance to enter to win!

I want to pre-order your cookbooks as gifts this Christmas for some of my girls, do you have a fun graphic that could be used in a card to show them what they will be getting in the mail?
